Hello all, I recently watched a video on youtube that Karl done in his new studio where he was taking a photo of a glass full of water and dropping a fake ice cube into it, now I'm wondering if theres a system out there that would allow me to use this on my Hasselblad I'm getting this year ? The system I'm going for is the H5D-50c.

I want to do some strobe work as well as get some lightening shots just without trying to time it myself on when to take the photo.

Hopefully this link to the video works.

G'day Simon,

There are lots of sound triggers, some DIY stuff, and then there is one that is multi-functional, that does sound trigger, light trigger, laser trigger, and can set off unlimited camera's, or unlimited flashes and is expandible. It will also allow flashes to be fired in sequence or all at once as well as the flashes.

I've been going to buy one of these for at least 5 years, just never got around to it. Camera Axe Triggers

Regards,
Craig

Hi Craig,

I quite like the sound of a multi purpose tigger that way I only need to carry around one thing, I believe I've found the one Karl is using and I can pick them up for just over $300 thats including the postage. I might go to the shop instead since I can often get a better price there, This is the MIOPS smart trigger I can seem to get a 3.5mm connecter at both ends for the H5D which is good but I just wanna make sure it will use that connector as I'm going off the older models.

That camera axe looks kind of difficult to use and bulky, its really hard to tell though since theres nothing saying the size of it or having a photo of it next to a DSLR camera.

Not sure if the bloke in the video is the developer or just a user, but this system has gone through at least 5 versions over the years from a DIY kit to a fully setup circuit board for the DIY with all parts, then through Kickstarter they went for a fully developed and functioning system where you could do all your own programming or use the firmware that comes with that you can customize.
