Was out in the forest picking chanterelle and took some shots of other shrooms in the area.

G'day Johann,

Nice lighting on these fungi and that appears to be quite a steep slope.

I'd recommend slightly closer fora more detailed shot, especially on the mosses and ferns etc.

But of course, it all depends on the type of image you were wanting to make.

Cheers Craig,

I had a Macro Ring for the 21mm and made another shot a lot closer - will post it later...

PS: I carried along a little Metz LED light for your mobile phone (Metz mecalight LED-72 SMART - on-camera light) to light up the fungi. very small and gave just enough light to do the job.

really like the lighting   
Canon 5D3, 6D, 700D a bunch of lenses and other bits, ohhh and some Pentax stuff

Looking nice and attractive but I think it has lost it natural looks because of using the very strong color. I preferred your 2nd image.
