Good night to everyone,

I purchased "Canon Speedlite 580 EX II" couple days ago from BH. I want to use the "ETTL Automatically mode". I read through the user Maual and troubleshooting till this moment. but the LCD Panel only display " zoom -- mm" NO Lens focal Length. (No distance "meter"either)

Example: The LCD Pannel should display" zoom 85 mm"
                                                  1.5m

I am looking forward to seeing the answer asap.

Warmest Regards,
Julia

Thank you Rene!
Today I also get the same answer. BH Photo send me a link from Canon digital Photography Forum. There are a lot of people have the same problem as I do. Now I know if want to use "Auto zoom", must make the flash head "point straight forward", if use "maual zoom" can adjust the head any position.I will try it when My new falsh coming on Thursday. I returned those two already due to this problem couple days ago. hehehe...
